Photography Center of Thessaloniki is organizing a photography exhibition under the title «Capturing the Future» /Photography in the Artificial Intelligence Era, in collaboration with French Institute of Thessaloniki.

Opening: 24/11/2023, 7pm

French Institute of Thessaloniki - Allatini-Dassault exhibition place - 2A, L. Stratou av., Thessaloniki

The exhibition focuses on the common place of photography and new technologies and includes works created using new technologies such as digital art, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), artificial intelligence (AI), Non-fungible token (NFT) and other new technologies related to production of the photographic image.

The digital revolution in the field of photography constitutes a new visual code with unprecedented transformative power in this transitional moment of visual culture.

The artists are concerned with the meaning of the transformations caused by the new constantly and rapidly evolving technologies with this new modality in the production of photography.
